SUMMARY
A somewhat silent and slow paced revolution has been taking place in Venezuela during the 1990s and its effects will definitely have an impact in the century to come. It is nearly 30 year since the nationalization of the country´s oil and gas industries, but now the knots in this tightly knit area are being loosened to allow private sector participation.
